My World
a writing prompt from my recent workshop
Hi All,

The theme of that workshop was “Learning to Look” and we explored readings and prompts that got our minds moving and our words flowing as we worked on various ways to better see and document our memories and the spaces we inhabit in our daily lives.
I sourced from three authors for this workshop. Two books that I used were 44 Poems on Being With Each Other by Pádraig Ó Tuama and Joy: 100 Poems. The third piece was an excerpt from my grandmother’s wartime diary and this is the one I’m sharing with you today.
